Journal page

I started this page back in July at a collage class with Diana Trout. I covered pages with gesso, torn magazine papers, and drew a grid in the thick gesso. Just the other night I opened up to this page and added a little more background color, stenciled the feather and pattern with acrylic paint and then glued the strips of washi paper. I haven't decided if I'm going to add some journaling -- a quote I found about a feather -- but I am going to make a color copy and glue to the cover of the journal.

DLP, Weeks 41 and 42

Last week's challenge was polka dots. This week: stars!
Polka dots were created with a circle template, acrylic paint, white pen, colored pencil and painted deli paper circles.  The stars: peerless watercolor and Faber-Castell Pitt pen.
