Did you ever receive some surprising news that contradicted everything you knew?  Here's my interpretation of "trying to put all the pieces together"....

More Fronds!

Having fun playing with the frond stencils.  The first spread is painted  -- I like the color combo: started with violet, lime and turquoise. The second spread is sprayed.  The Tyvec stencil was too thin for the spray paint, it smeared, but it's ok, I like the overall look of the page. I experimented with a cut out of the stencil by tracing it on scrapbook paper - you'll see it lower right.

Frond Chronicles

As promised, here's my version of the Frond Chronicles from the workshop. I glued one of masks right on the cover. The other page is shown on the post below.

Affirmations

A recent copy of Cloth-Paper-Scissors encouraged me to "Paint with wild abandon and effortlessly tap into my creativity flow".  We were encouraged to use different color combinations than normal, which I thought I did, but alas, this still looks like me!  So, off to try it again and be a bit more bold this time.

I never create faces.  I remember doing a lot of portrait work in high school and it was just something I didn't like, but... I thought I would give Traci Bautista's on-line class a try.  Here's my first try at a Glam girl - part I.  Part II to come!
